"Let Jesus Do The Talkin'" has made it to Christian Radio....
Our newest single, "Let Jesus Do the Talkin'" has made it to Christian radio. You can listen for and request this song today. This song is on the Songgarden Compilation Disc. So everybody call your radio station or wherever Christian or southern gospel music is played and request this song by Tim and Libby Thomas. Let us know if you hear it out there. We sang it for the first time last Sunday and had great response. We are so excited about it. It is definitely a song for everyone.

Travelers' Tales......
I know that I talk about Peri a lot, but she does so many neat little things that make a mother proud, so I want to share. Those of you who have children know what I mean.

Our church has an AWANA program. It is a program for all ages of kids that heavily emphasizes scripture memorization. Peri is in the "Cubbies" class. She has already had to memorize about 4 verses. I have to say it has been a little challenging, but she has done it. About three weeks ago the verse was God Is True.. John 3:33. She said it to her teachers and got her little patch to go on her cubbie vest. You know sometimes you wonder if it sticks, you know what I mean? I had been struggling with that thought just kind of praying that she would really learn and remember these verses. Just today we were in her room and I asked her if she wanted to take a nap. She said, "sure mommy." I left the room but was watching at her door to see if she followed through with it. Before getting in her bed, she went over to her bookshelf and picked up her little pink Bible. She climbed into her bed, opened up her Bible as if she were "reading" it and said, "God Is True...John 3:33." I whispered, a quick Thank You, Lord, and then went in and gave her a big hug, and told her I was proud of her. It does work. Kids pay attention so much more than we ever know. Good and Bad. They pick up on the good and not so good. My how we need to be careful and good stewards of the children that He has given us.

You know what? God is True... He is true to His word and promises. Train up a child in the way they should go and he will not depart from it. He is true to His word!

Cruising in 2010
Just a little something to put in your brain to think about. We are going on a cruise in 2010. We, along with some other music groups will be hosting a cruise to Cozumel and that area in Jan. of 2010. I know that it seems far away, but I'm telling you early so you can start making plans to go. Song Garden Music Group has announced that Tim & Libby Thomas have signed an exclusive recording agreement with Grapevine Records. The Nashville, TN based husband and wife duo are currently in the recording studio working on their first Grapevine records release. Song Garden Music Group V.P. David Staton stated, "Tim & Libby Thomas have one of the freshest, commercial sounds I've heard in a long time in gospel music. The material on this project is great and the production and style will make this cd a favorite for people who appreciate the entire package of great songs, vocals and production. I am extremely proud of them for the quality they bring to our label." The project will be produced by Gus Gaches, Dirk Johnson and Staton. The first single "Let Jesus Do The Talkin" is scheduled to arrive at radio around August 10 and will also be available for stations to download on the radio page of http://www.songgardenmusicgroup.com.

The new recording "Good Thing Going" release date is set for Monday Sept. 8, 2008.

Tim and Libby will be performing at the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, KY. on Monday Sept. 8, 2008 at 1:00pm at the Artist Showcase in the South Wing Conference Center of the Kentucky Fair and Expo Center.

Baby on board: Tim and Libby will be welcoming a new member to the Thomas household in January 2009. They are expecting their second child and can't wait for this blessed event.

Libby has been filling the third vocal position for well know concert promoter and trio The Arnolds. With their very limited schedule, this has given her some opportunities to share her talent in some different venues.

In June 2007 we relocated from Oklahoma to Nashville, Tennessee. With a lot of our travel schedule putting us in the eastern side of the United States we felt like this was the next move for our ministry. Its nice being more centrally located, which results in more “Home Time” than ever before.

We have added some new pictures from the road under our Photo Gallery Link and will be doing a lot more of that within the next few weeks.

Extreme Makeover Bus Edition! Udated December 29, 2006
Reconstruction has begun! May 4th the bus was dropped off in Hartville, MO at the conversion shop to begin its transformation. Unfortunately instead of one week this transformation will take four months. Yes four months so we will be staying pretty close to home for awhile. For current episodes and pictures click here.

Tim and Libby On Television
Tim and Libby were guests on the TCT Christian Network the last week of June with hosts Gary and Carol McSpadden. They will be reappearing the end of September following their New England Tour. If you subscribe to Direct TV you can view this network on channel 377. If not you can go to www.tct.tv and watch online
